Shingles on courthouse roof a safety concern PDF E-mail

Continuing safety issues with the slate roof on the Hamilton County Courthouse likely will lead to closure of all entrances but one, closure of sidewalks surrounding the building and signage warning pedestrians of the possibility of falling shingles.

County safety committee member Pat Sandberg said Friday’s meeting centered around the potential for more slate shingles to fall from the roof and the dangers that could impose on people entering or leaving the building.
