After a two-year hiatus away from an 8-man state championship game, Giltner flew its way back to Memorial Stadium in triumphant fashion.

It was a formula that looked plenty familiar for the Hornets -- stop the other team’s outstanding running back and get their own offense into a groove.

This time, it worked to the tune of a 60-20 win Monday night at Shelton, punching Giltner’s ticket to Memorial Stadium for a Monday championship brawl with fellow unbeaten Humphrey St. Francis.
