A Spooktacular scare for Halloween PDF E-mail

From slime to witches brew and even chucking pumpkins, the Edgerton Explorit Center doubled as a spooky theme park Saturday with its Halloween Spooktacular.

About 100 people altogether attended the inaugural event, which excited Mary Molliconi, the center’s executive director.

"We were really excited with the turnout, and everyone who was there had a great time," she said. "It was a good day."

The event was formatted so people could come and go throughout the day, with workshops scheduled every half hour and activities in the Explorit Zone when more structured events were not in session.
