The Aurora City Council was advised last week that its plans to build an outdoor swimming pool in Streeter Park are ready to go to bid, though no action was taken at the Oct. 23 meeting.

With two members of the council absent and Wayne Roblee’s seat vacant pending his election to a different ward, the council did not have a quorum present and therefore could take no action. Mayor Marlin Seeman indicated, however, that council members considering a delay regardless to allow additional time to work with Aurora Recreation Center (ARC) committee on its indoor-outdoor pool concept.
