Hamilton County showed healthy gains in net taxable sales during the month of July, though vehicle sales were trending in the other direction.

The Nebraska Department of Revenue reported the county’s taxable sales figures for July at $4,582,599, up 11.3 percent from the previous year. Aurora’s total was up to $3,920,914, a whopping 27.5 percent gain from July 2011.
