The Hampton Post Office has a new face in charge, at least on a temporary basis. Cindy Madison is currently running the facility as the officer in charge (OIC), until a permanent postmaster is hired. The process could take somewhere around 30 to 90 days. "I could be here one month or three months. I don’t think I’ll be here much longer than that," she admitted. "This is just a temporary assignment." |
