| Pursleys launch mobile gaming venture |

Shauna didn’t find the cake designs she was looking for back in February, but what she did find were a number of mobile video game parties, featuring trailers loaded with all the latest games and high-tech toys. "I showed John and the boys because I thought it was really cool," Shauna recalled. "But there was nothing available in Nebraska."  John got to thinking about the concept, knowing that sons Hunter and Carter are both video "gamers," and told his wife they should do some research. "We had no intention of starting another business at the time, but we decided to look into it," Shauna said. Four months later, the Pursleys pulled the trigger, ordering a 30-foot, self-contained trailer and launching Get Your Game On. To read more, see this week's print or e-editions |

What started as an online search for video-themed birthday cake designs led to the eventual creation of a new family business for John and Shauna Pursley of Aurora.
