Two teams remain rated after last week’s prep football action. All teams ranked by the Lincoln Journal Star in Class D2 won and held their previous spots with Giltner (6-0) at the top. Ratings include, in order, Humphrey St. Francis (6-0), Falls City Sacred Heart (6-0), Shelton (6-0), Medicine Valley (6-0), Garden County (6-0), Wausa (6-0), Kenesaw (5-1), Bertrand (6-0) and Lindsay Holy Family (5-1). High Plains is listed sixth by the Omaha World-Herald in Class D1. Listed in order are Howells-Dodge (6-0), Elgin/Pope John (6-0), Burwell (6-0), Hartington (6-0), Creighton (5-1), High Plains (6-1), Exeter-Milligan (6-0), West Point GACC (5-1), Arapahoe (7-0) and Hemingford (6-0). Aurora’s football team is no longer rated after its loss Friday against Grand Island Northwest. |
