The third-rated Lady Hornets took care of Shelby-Rising City 25-17, 25-14 and McCool Junction 25-4, 25-11 in a home triangular Thursday night. Dating back to the Hampton Tournament on Sept. 22, the Lady Hornets have swept all six opponents -- all in Classes C2 or D1. On Thursday, Giltner got going right away against Shelby-Rising City, with an ace block from Abbey Preissler for a 4-0 lead. Darby Hinrichs added a kill to push it to 6-1.
