The Hampton and Giltner volleyball teams are rated second and third, respectively, in ratings released Tuesday by the Lincoln Journal Star.

Hampton (14-4) is No. 2 in Class D2 while Giltner (13-2) is third, with Humphrey (17-1) in the No. 1 spot. Following the top three are Mead (14-3), Deshler (9-2), Bertrand (14-2), Ewing (15-2), Falls City Sacred Heart (18-3), Leyton (16-0) and Sterling (10-5).

Aurora is listed ninth in Class B by the Lincoln paper. The ratings include, in order, Northwest (20-2), Omaha Gross (17-3), Norris (13-2), Waverly (19-4), Elkhorn South (16-6), Omaha Skutt (15-11), Gretna (17-5), Elkhorn (12-9), the Lady Huskies (11-7) and Seward (17-4)
