Commissioners approve interlocal agreement PDF E-mail

Hamilton County Commissioners put their stamp of approval on a revised one-year interlocal agreement with the City of Aurora to house the police department in the county’s Law Enforcement Center.

Sheriff Kirk Handrup met with commissioners Monday morning, noting he approved of the revisions that were made to the interlocal agreement and recommended commissioners do the same.

Commissioners took their cue from Handrup, unanimously approving the agreement, which became effective Sept. 1 will continue for the next 10 months, ending June 30, 2013, unless renewed.
