Amanda Young has joined the staff of Timberlake Ranch Camps, Inc., as the new horsemanship director at the facility located near Marquette.
Previously, Young has served as a wrangler in the horsemanship program for Timberlake during the 2010 and 2011 camp seasons. The focus of the horsemanship director will be to expand the variety of equine related activities offered.
In addition to summer ranch camp and trail rides, Timberlake will now offer public and private riding lessons to individuals of all ages. Young is certified through Christian Camping Horsemanship International to teach both Western and English equitation lessons. Birthday parties, introduction to horsemanship classes and dog obedience camps are additional programs that will be introduced.
