The site, approximately 4-1/4 miles north and one east of the Highways 14-34 corner in Aurora, will be the location of this year’s test plot tour on Wednesday, Aug. 22. Mike Danhauer, who owns the farm, said it will be interesting to see how this year’s test plot participants held up against drought conditions. As for which hybrids appear to be performing better, Danhauer said he’s not sure at this point. "I’m sure that, when we get the combine in there, there may be some surprises," he said.
