Only one building permit topped the $10,000 mark in the month of July, a normally busy month for construction projects.

Aurora City Hall released month-end totals showing only 10 permits were issued during the month, adding up to $30,300. The largest permit was for a $10,000 fence at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds.
