Farmers dust off antiques for annual plow day in Aurora PDF E-mail

A field south of the Hamilton County Fairgrounds got some good, old-fashioned plow treatment on July 28.

A total of 21 tractors and plows, some coming from as far as 70 miles away, participated in this year’s Antique Tractor Plow Day held about one mile south of the fairgrounds.

"It’s property owned by Ray Miller, an organic farmer, and he likes to cover up the weeds that way," said organizer Marcellus Wall. "It helps him with weed control."
