| Net taxable sales dip slightly during March |

Hamilton County showed a dip in net taxable sales during the month of March, posting a trend approximately 4 percent below the statewide average. The Nebraska Department of Revenue reported the county’s taxable sales figures for March at $4,785,046, down 2.8 percent from the previous year. Aurora’s total was up to $3,760,506, a 3.2 percent gain from March 2011. The net taxable sales figure includes revenue from a variety of business classifications, including retail, utilities, construction, manufacturing, wholesale trade, transportation and warehousing, professional services, health care and social services and several others. |
