The new artificial turf Aurora football field is starting to take shape, five yards at a time. Crew members from a South Carolina installation company, as well as a few local hired hands, are unrolling, positioning and sewing the strips into place in a process expected to take four days. The addition of the numbers, hashmarks and end zone lettering has been delayed as of Tuesday since some of the material has not yet arrived.
