Headed for Omaha PDF E-mail

Two Aurora school records fell and multiple personal bests were recorded Thursday at the District B-5 Track Meet at Grand Island Northwest.

The Huskies qualified 16 for the May 18-19 Nebraska State Track and Field Meet at Omaha Burke, including eight boys and eight girls.

Headed to the big show in Omaha are Aly Trompke in the pole vault; Morgan George in the high jump; Maggie Schneider in the 800, 1600 and 3200 meter relay; Taylor Thiele in the 100 meter hurdles, 300 meter hurdles and 1600 meter relay; Maggie Grosshans in the 1600 meter relay and 3200 meter relay; Allison Penner in the 1600 meter relay and 3200 meter relay; Emily Braun in the 1600 meter relay and 3200 meter relay; Ava Leininger in the 300 meter hurdles; Trey Allen in the pole vault; AJ Farand in the pole vault and triple jump; Seth Schnakenberg in the high jump and triple jump; Trevor Thorell in the long jump and 400 meter relay; Derrick Flores in the shot; Ben McQuiston in the 800 and 400 meter relay; Blake Williams in the 300 meter hurdles; and Brock Reichardt in the 400 meter relay.
