United Farmers Cooperative has announced its purchase of Midwest Ag Parnters in Marquette.

The York-based cooperative said the acquisition will help the company improve efficiency and reliabiliy across its 32 locations in Nebraska and Kansas. The site, which opened in 2008, will continue to focus primarily on agronomy sales and service, with Ray Shanks as manager.

The company has planned an open house Friday, Jan. 13 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
