MCHI revamps marketing image with new logo PDF E-mail

The quality of service and health care on the inside of Memorial Community Health’s four facilities didn’t match the look and feel of the marketing image on the outside.

That shared sentiment led CEO Diane Keller and the MCHI board down a strategic planning path which ended with Friday’s debut of a new corporate logo. The distinctive blue and green design was unveiled at a business after hours reception, where Keller described the need for change.

“We decided that we don’t do a good job of letting the community know all of the good things we have,” Keller explained. “We needed to make sure the image we give to the public is classy, up to date, and that it matches what we’re doing on the inside of our building.”

With that began a several month process of research and review. When Keller pulled the cover off the board at Friday’s unveiling, the public got its first glimpse of an image that will soon identify the four MCHI facilities, as well as all their communications and marketing materials.

“The logo has our traditional blue color, reflecting the foundation and stability of who we have always been,” Keller explained. “We also brought in some green to symbolize more growth. We believe it visually represents our organization very well.”
