Lady Hornets advance PDF E-mail

Giltner's Lady Hornets are one game away from the Class D-2 state tournament after Thursday's 63-42 subdistrict win over Lawrence-Nelson. The victory puts Giltner in a win-or-go-home showdown with Betrand in a district final scheduled for Feb. 28 at Gibbon. That game begins at 7 p.m.

Six Aurora wrestlers are headed for Omaha.

Tanner Wonch, Caleb Oswald, Craig Hudiburgh, Eli Bricker, Nicholas Weber and T.J. Dozier punched their ticket to the CenturyLink Center this week in Omaha with solid performances at the B-3 district meet at Adams Central. With a little luck at the end, the number could have been even higher.
