Dinner to support missionaries in South Africa, Nepal PDF E-mail

A Southern dinner and fish fry is scheduled Sunday to help raise funds in support of local missionaries working in South Africa and Nepal.

Guests are invited to the Aurora United Methodist Church Sunday from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Running on sugar PDF E-mail

Aventine Renewable Energy Holdings, Inc., announced this week that it has sold its ethanol plant in Mount Vernon, Ind., to improve its balance sheet and refocus its assets on two ethanol plants in Aurora and similar facilities in Pekin, Ill. The company's president and CEO reports that sugar is being processed at the new plant now, though the plan is to have both plants at Aurora West processing corn by summer.
