Commissioners delay action on new ambulance PDF E-mail

Hamilton County Board members opened two bids for a new ambulance Monday morning, but tabled any action to give commissioners and ambulance service director Cathy Sigler time to examine the bid details.
Both bids came from FireGuard in Omaha.

 
Hagstrom: There’s good and bad news for ag PDF E-mail

Aurora coach Rick Bell and the Huskies are one win away from a return trip to the Class B state boys basketball tournament. The Big Red defeated Holdrege 47-44 Monday and will face Grand Island Northwest in the district final Tuesday at 7 p.m. in a game at Grand Island Senior High. The Giltner and High Plains boys teams will also be playing for a state berth Tuesday night. The two-time defending state champion Hornets face off against Amherst in the D2-4 final at Gibbon, while the Storm goes against Kenesaw in the D1-2 final at Grand Island Central Catholic. Both of those games start at 7 p.m.
