Hunt signs with UNK PDF E-mail

Aurora senior Alex Hunt signed the dotted line on national signing day to play football at the University of Nebraska-Kearney.
Hunt led the Huskies his senior year with 155 total tackles and was recruited by the Lopers as an outside linebacker.

 
Report: County, state demographics changing PDF E-mail

The 2012 Kids Count in Nebraska report released recently features new data on child welfare and early childhood in the state. The data in the report shows both statewide trends and numbers on each individual county.
Hamilton County’s population decreased by about 150 people to 9,069. The number of children 19 and under dropped by about 170 to 2,487, and those under 5 decreased by nearly 40 to 502.

 
A’ROR’N Days June 20-23 PDF E-mail

A’ROR’N Days committee members have set the dates and theme for the 2013 four-day celebration.
Jim McHargue said the celebration will continue to be held, as it has in the past, with this year’s dates June 20-23.
The theme for the event will be “Country Roads Take Me Home.”
More information will be released as the event nears.
