Twelve seniors bid a fond farewell to Hampton High School Saturday afternoon, marking the occasion with a look back at their time together and a challenge to look forward to their unknown futures.

Primary voter turnout hits 46% PDF E-mail

Hamilton County voters turned out in relatively high numbers for Tuesday’s primary election to vote for local issues in Marquette and Hampton, as well as Aurora School Board and county commissioner candidates.

A total of 2,964 registered voters cast ballots -- 46 percent of the 6,430 residents who are eligible to vote

Marquette voters gave their approval to keno, while Hampton voters gave the thumbs up to a bond issue for a new city hall.

In Aurora, school board Pat Shaw, Susan Mitchell, Cory Ohlson, Daniel Pachta, Cyndi Muilenburg and Scott Scheierman advanced to the general election where voters will be asked to vote for three candidates.
