Coop building taking shape PDF E-mail

The new corporate headquarters for the Aurora Cooperative is starting to take shape now on the grounds of The Leadership Center in Aurora. Construction on the 30,000 sq. ft. facility began last fall and is scheduled for completion in November. The new structure will help consolidate the company’s corporate offices, which are now located in six different sites.

 
Senior center funding glitch discovered PDF E-mail

Hamilton County and City of Aurora officials have been scratching their heads, wondering how the Frank M. Farr Senior Center is operating in the red, since the two entities give a combined $57,000 to the center (funneled through Midland Area Agency on Aging) -- an amount matched by federal funds.
Well, they’re scratching their heads no more.

 
Road-ready Roadster PDF E-mail

Buzz Oswald of rural Aurora is in the process of giving a bumper-to-bumper restoration to a sports car.
For 10 years, the 1951 MG TD Roadster manufactured by the England-based M.G. Car Company, Ltd., sat in a machine shed on his farm. For details on Oswald's project, see this week's print or e-editions.
