Hamilton County appears to have dodged a bullet Wednesday evening.With severe thunderstorm warnings and tornado watches and warnings throughout central Nebraska, Hamilton County came through unscathed, according to Emergency Management director Kirt Smith.While there were reports of a tornado on the ground between Stockham and Hampton (where sirens sounded) Smith reports there was no damage in the county other than water across country roads in several places, from Stockham to north of Hampton.
