The temperatures were high this week for the 143rd edition of the Hamilton County Fair, and so too were the number of youth showing animals throughout the five-day event. Members of Aurora Boy Scout Troop 28 kicked off the 2014 Hamilton County Fair Wednesday with a ceremonial burning of worn American flags. Scouts layered many flags that had faded and torn over the years, then saluted as they watched them burn.
